The topic of this week’s photography challenge is ‘Smile’ and it has proven to be a difficult challenge for me to complete. Not because I don’t like to smile, but rather as there are so many things that make me happy. Originally I wanted to put together a post with of examples of everything that makes me smile, however I quickly realised that the post would just be a hodge-podge of everything that I photograph. Instead I have elected to choose just one photo that makes me smile every time I see it. Of course seeing Kathrin laugh makes me smile, but the photo also brings back memories of the portrait session during which I took it and what I said to elicit the reaction. I’ll leave that up to your imagination, though!

Das Thema der Fotografie Herausforderung für diese Woche ist ‘Lächeln’ und das Thema hat mich wirklich herausgefordert. Nicht weil ich nicht lächle, sondern weil zu viele Sachen mich zum lächeln bringen. Zuerst wollte ich einen Eintrag mit vielen verschiedenen Beispielen von Fotos zusammenstellen, die mich zum lächeln bringen, aber ich habe schon relativ schnell realisiert, dass ein solcher Eintrag nie zum Fließen gebracht werden könnte. Stattdessen habe ich ein einziges Foto von Kathrin ausgesucht, das mich immer zum lächeln bringt. Natürlich lächle ich, weil Kathrin im Bild so schön lacht, aber das Foto bringt auch die Erinnerungen an die Foto Session zurück und was ich gesagt habe, um diese Reaktion zu bekommen. Ich überlasse das jedoch eurer Fantasie!
